I mentioned in my this post that having a domain is very important to get traffic from all search engines. Today, statistics have turned. There has been not even a single visit for any keyword to my this blog from any serch engine for last three days.

Not that there has been no queries on any search engines, because this post is getting 15-17 visits for targeted keywords. I would call it coincidence that just five days back I stumbled upon this WebmasterWorld Thread and today I am one of the survivor of sandbox.

So, what the heck sandbox is? read this deliberated post of Wayne Hurlbert where existence of sandbox is accepted (I think 50% info in the article is correct and 50% is just assumption). Whats clarification from Google? Matt Cutts has denied existence of sandbox, but one thing is clear that there is something that filter out new websites. As Matt Cutts said It is the part of search algorithm which affects ranking of some newly launched website under some circumstances. Those circumstances could be anything like….

• Sudden increase of back links
• Good amount of traffic in short span of time
• Ranked for the targeted keywords in small time (Which probably happened in my case)
• Traffic From mail server i.e Email Marketing
• Routing traffic (e.g traffic of my free blog is redirected to my paid blog)
• Traffic from spam traffic generating websites.

What are the ways to get out of the SandBox? Well, no one can predict precisely at it is the part of computer program. I really liked the conclusion came across by Idaho (Last response of the thread). In the last as Matt Cutts said ‘It is the part of algorithm’, SEO master just named as sandBox to that ‘part of search algorithm’. Finally, sandbox is there that churn out good websites from spammy websites.
